Hotel De Continental

I came to Delhi with my dad for his treatment, and tomorrow we're moving to a furnished apartment where we can cook for ourselves. We've spent the nights here at Hotel De Continental, and it's been a very nice stay. The deluxe double room had one large bed and a smaller one, which worked well for us since we didn't want to be far apart. The room has good air conditioning, plus a spacious bathroom and toilet with a nice shower, hand basin, and wash basin. I arrived in India on 25th September, 2023, and had first been taken to a hotel I didn't like because the rooms were cramped and stuffy. I asked my host to find somewhere else, which is how I ended up here. I highly recommend it and will miss it. If I return to Delhi, this will definitely be my hotel of choice.

When I arrived in India to take my dad for treatment at BLK-Max super speciality hospital, I needed somewhere reasonably priced for a few days while looking for an apartment for the rest of our one-month stay. I was struggling to find a place, and this hotel came through when I didn't know where else to look. They gave us a comfortable double room, with a big bed for my dad and a smaller one for me. I highly recommend the hospitality and good service we received.

Double thumbs down 👎👎. The room service menu lists ginger tea, but when I ordered it, they didn't know what it was. The food prices are super high, and the plates and cups they serve are something you have to see. The tea flask wasn't clean either. Even the lift gives you an idea of the hotel's standards. Nothing is maintained and the service isn't good. I don't recommend staying here at all.

There was so much wrong with the room. The bathroom extension fan didn't work when we arrived, and the door lock was damaged. I told reception, but they took four days to replace it. The bed was too hard, and there were loose hairs on it. The fan was dusty, and the rooms weren't cleaned properly. They used the bathroom cleaning cloth on the room afterward. The service was terrible, and the rooms were very small. Even an Oyo room was much better. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.
