Hotel Diamond

My room had no window, the AC didn’t work, and I nearly got sick there. The staff’s behavior was awful. The receptionist was so rude, speaking down to me like I’d just come off the street, and they even charged for ordinary filtered water. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t go back, especially with family. They charged a booking price of 2000/- to 1500/- and promised to return the remainder when I checked out. For example, if the room cost 1000 rupees per night, they would take 2000 rupees as the booking price and say they’d pay back the balance when I left. The checkout time was another problem. There were different boards in the room, and they made sure the wrong one was hanging. If the usual checkout time was 12pm and you said you’d leave before 12pm the next day, you might find a board saying 8am when you were leaving at 10am or 11am. Then they’d make you pay extra, and you wouldn’t get back the booking fees you’d paid in advance.

The room was filthy and the washroom was awful. I took an auto person’s advice and tried this place by mistake. The stay felt like a nightmare, and I found it frightening. If you complain, they quickly threaten to throw you out. If you’re with family or friends, staff may come straight into your room using other keys. The hotel is a disgrace, and the way they do business feels dishonest. Better to stay somewhere else, or even sleep at the station than pay their charges. I suggest Vanson hotel, which is quite good to stay in, rather than this jhantuuu sa hotel charging 2k per stay. This is my real experience, and I’m not making it up.

The TV remote was missing, and we were told hot water would only be available after 8 am. My wife and I stayed here on 31dec. 2022, and wanted to leave early on 1st Jan 2023. At booking, they asked Rs. 1500/- per room, but after we found another hotel they agreed to Rs1000/- for a day. It was an okay experience.

There was no lift or heater, and the bathroom was cold, smelly, and unclean. Compared with other hotels in paharganj, they charged a lot. They first said 1000 thousand per night, then added 2 hundred at checkout, and the servants asked one hundred for service. Not good at all. It's not a dirty alley.
