Hotel Horizon By Shanti

The rooms are on the small side, and some don't have windows, but they're beautifully done, comfortable, and fitted to a very high standard. The wall sockets work with international plugs. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities, and the staff are great. They even helped us avoid missing a flight after several Uber drivers canceled. Really nice place.

The staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit, and they even upgraded our room, which made the stay more comfortable and memorable. I had a wonderful time at Hotel Horizon by Shanti. It feels like one of Delhi's best options if you're after a balance of budget and luxury. Fantastic experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Delhi.

We arrived late, at 2:00 a.m., but check-in went smoothly. The helpful staff offered advice and assistance, and were friendly and professional throughout. The hotel is new, and my room was very clean and met all my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the high standards. Breakfast was served at a neighboring hotel, just a few meters away, so getting there was easy. Thanks to all the staff.

The manager tries to accommodate requests, and the security guard is a very good man. But the staff seem to ignore the manager, and there's little else positive I can say. When visiting New Dehli, I'd look for somewhere else to stay. The website pictures are misleading about the slum area where the hotel is located, which didn't feel safe for travelers or tourists. The hotel seems new, but there's an unpleasant smell inside and construction is underway to expand it. The rooms are worn down, with no water and mushrooms in the bathrooms, despite the hotel having opened only "3 months" earlier. Staff kept asking for tips and wouldn't leave the room without getting one. I asked for hangers that were missing from the closet, and they brought them one at a time, wanting a tip each time. Without tips, they wouldn't make up the room or bring room service within two hours of a call, and the smiles disappeared. The fire suppression system wasn't working either. See the attached picture.
