Hotel Madonna

The location in Old Rajendernagar, Karol bagh, made it easy to handle our local needs during a week in Delhi for a US Embassy interview. Our room was spacious and neat, with a flat screen cable TV, mini fridge, comfortable amenities, and a roomy, well-kept attached bathroom. Mr Yadav/ Tripati at the counter were especially courteous and prompt, and the staff as a whole made us feel welcome. It was a memorable stay at a reasonable price, and we’re grateful for their hospitality.

Markets and metro stations are close by, which made getting around from Hotel Madonna in Karol Bagh convenient. The rooms were clean and maintained well, with the basic amenities, and the staff were friendly. Comfortable service at a budget-friendly price, whether you’re in Delhi for business or leisure.

The room itself was fine, but there weren’t any bathroom slippers. When I asked, they said slippers would cost Rs 100, even though I’d expect them to be provided in a room. For just one night, why should I pay extra? I’d booked a cheese paratha from the high-priced menu, but they brought paneer paratha instead. We paid Rs 2700 for the room.

Karol Bagh metro station is nearby, so it’s easy to get around Delhi and avoid the usual traffic. We stayed for about five days for a friend’s wedding. It may be a 2 or 3 star property, but they do what they can to keep guests happy. The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleanliness was quite good. From the front desk to the room boys, everyone greeted us with a smile and helped make the stay comfortable. Many guests seem to be single day travellers because of the hotel’s proximity to places around the city. Thanks, Team Madonna, for making our Delhi stay pleasant.
