The room smelled bad, and the blankets and pillows had an unpleasant odour too. It was cramped and had no proper ventilation. The lift didn't work properly, and management was poor. They even charged 10 rupees for Colgate toothpaste instead of providing a dental kit. Bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend it for families or couples.

Water kept dripping in the bathroom, and there was dampness and mold on the walls and ceiling. The room they gave us wasn't clean, and the hotel itself felt very old. It was unhygienic and unsuitable for a stay.

The property is very nice, but the TV didn't work. When we asked, staff said they could only give us free channels. We were told the hotel was sold out when we called about booking a room with a working TV, even though rooms appeared available online. They wouldn't even provide a TV for the guest. Unbelievable and unexpected.

Hotel Nirmal mahal is in a handy spot in Delhi Paharganj, close to New Delhi Railway station, Ramakrishna ashram Marg metro and local attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean and well kept, and made for a comfortable stay. We found the atmosphere peaceful and inviting after days out exploring Delhi. Staff were courteous and attentive, and service was prompt. Hotel Nirmal mahal exceeded my expectations. I'd happily stay again on my next trip and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
