Hotel Pluto's

We arrived as a group after a pilgrimage of more than 10 days, with 13 rooms booked about two days earlier for the 19th. The rooms were all in poor shape, some worse than others, and none seemed fit for a guest to sleep in. Several mattresses I checked were old and moldy, and the smell in the rooms was strong and musty. The sheets had to be pulled back to see the mattresses. Floors were dusty, apparently unswept and unmopped, and the counters felt sticky. Bathrooms were worse: they looked unclean, the towels were old and dirty, and the shower barely ran. We told the night manager and refused to go back into the rooms until they were cleaned. The staff didn’t seem equipped for the job, with no brooms, mops, or vacuum. They used one towel wrapped around something to wipe all the rooms, and had no way to pick up the dirt from the floors. Although the manager promised we could sleep in cleaned rooms, what we got back was still unsatisfactory even for a 2 star hotel. Some of us cleaned our own rooms so we could spend the night. I don’t understand how this place is advertised as a 4 star hotel. It should be sealed as a health hazard.

Everything felt fresh and hygienic during my stay at Plutos Hotel, from the linens to the bathroom. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, so I had a very relaxing and satisfying visit.

For a short trip, this was an easy stay. The room was clean when I arrived, the front desk was friendly, and check-in was over in just a few minutes. Good value for the price.

I liked the hotel's simple, clean look, and the staff made me feel at home as soon as I came in. It sits in a quiet, upscale part of the area, so it works well as a base for exploring South Delhi.
