Hotel Urban Royale Near IGI Airport

At 11:00 PM, after arriving at the hotel, we were told there were no rooms and our confirmed booking was denied. We had booked two rooms two days earlier and paid ₹23,000. Even after asking repeatedly for them to arrange rooms somehow, the staff showed no responsibility, empathy, or professionalism. They didn’t care that guests were stranded late at night. They also REFUSED TO REFUND OUR ₹23,000, even though the problem was entirely their fault. This feels like cheating and fraud. They take your money, deny you rooms, and keep the payment. The place is poorly managed, dishonest, and unethical, and shouldn’t be listed on booking platforms. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Save yourself the stress, lost money, and harassment.

It’s a new hotel, so it looks nice, and the reception is open 24*7. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they booked us a cab for almost the same cost as ola uber. The airport is close, at most 15 minutes by cab. Management should pay more attention to bathroom cleaning. If it had been as clean as expected, I’d have given five stars.

I felt unsafe alone in a stuffy room, and when I called staff for help they were rude and unprofessional. They disconnected the call partway through and didn’t assist me. I was also asked to pay extra for a room with a real window, even though the online photos showed one as part of the original booking. The room I got was completely different from the listing. Its only “window” looked into a closed, dirty shaft, with no fresh air, and it gave me discomfort and a headache. The photos are misleading. The property should update them to show the actual rooms and improve hospitality and guest safety, especially for solo travelers. I hope this helps others make an informed choice and management takes steps to address the issues.

The rooms, cleanliness, and everything else were extremely disappointing. This is a third-class hotel, nothing like its advertisements. Even the name is misleading: it’s shown as Urban Lion, which is incorrect. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
