Karon Hotel - Lajpat Nagar

I was so tired that I only got a photo of the front of the hotel, no pictures of the inside. The rooms were very cozy, comfortable, and spotless, and parking was easy and proper. There’s an in-house kitchen open nearly around the clock, with just snacks available after about 11 PM, which came in handy late at night. Room service was especially fast, with everything delivered hot. The food was good, and the staff and service were excellent. It’s a great location in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. I’d highly recommend it for comfort, good meals, and attentive service.

I found the location very convenient, and the reception staff were polite and helpful. Even though it’s near the road, the room stayed fairly quiet. The rooms were clean and decent, though the shower was quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant is small, the menu is limited, and service took a while: I ordered dinner at 9:15 PM and got it around 10:30 PM. A mixed stay, with some good points and some things that could improve.

We held an event in the basement hall last month, and it went smoothly. It’s a lovely spot for a smaller gathering of fewer than 100, and there’s plenty of parking. The staff were cooperative. Food was 7.5/10, so there’s room to improve there.

I was here for two days and nights, and things worked well, from the bathroom and room facilities to the kitchen. They brought food on time and cleaned the room during the day when I was out. AC is available throughout, including the room and dining hall. There’s a bathroom heater too, but it’s a geyser that you have to switch on yourself. I’m giving it 5 stars because I think it’s a 3-star hotel, and the facilities were good for what you pay. Enjoy your trip here.
