The rooms were tidy, though cramped for what we paid, and the stay itself was fine. The staff made it a very difficult experience. We’d checked the day before about arriving 2-3 hours before check-in and were told it would be okay, with a waiting area. Once there, they demanded more money, asked us to cancel our already-paid INR 8228 booking, and wanted INR 10,000 instead, claiming an early room entry meant a per-person tariff. We had two babies, but they made us feed them in the lobby and wouldn’t even let us use a washroom. We were left waiting while the babies cried. They seemed to have money disputes with other guests too. I felt they were trying to extract money from tourists using supposedly fake government rules, and showed no humanity. There’s no lift either, which made carrying luggage very difficult.

After a very dirty, poorly cleaned hotel near Navjeevan railway station the previous day, Krishna Inn felt like a huge improvement. We got a room on the morning of the 14th in Delhi. It was very clean, the service was good, and the price was low. They also have a lift.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the hospitality was lovely. The rooms were clean, attractive, and well looked after, with a peaceful, comfortable feel throughout. Hygiene and facilities were both great. I’d happily recommend this guest house for a pleasant stay.

The reviews give a misleading impression. Basic things were missing, including water, a kettle for heating water, and room dustbins. The bath towels weren’t clean either.

I stayed for three nights and had a nice, clean room. There was some dust on the curtains and bedside lamps, and I could hear a little noise from outside. The staff were good to deal with and the service was good too.
