Kuldeep Guest House

The location is convenient, with easy access to food and transport, but 2.5k per day is too much for such a tiny room. The AC doesn't work as a heater in winter, and nobody responds when we tell reception. There are no basic amenities, not even a water bottle, and nowhere to store luggage since there are no cupboards.

The place stinks and feels suffocating, and the rooms are very small. The photos on hotel booking sites are fake, the actual condition only becomes clear once you're inside.

Other guests were mostly Indian men, and they were very noisy at night. That made the atmosphere feel unsafe, especially for women travelling alone. I've known the owner, who also owns Yes Please guest house, for around 10 years and had been a returning customer. Even so, he cheated me over the money change. The AC I paid for didn't work, the receptionist refused to help and told me to contact the owner, and the owner never answered.

The condition is bad 😪. They have tie-ups with other lodges nearby, and the place is tucked inside an alley.
