The beds were very soft and the thali meals were delicious, but the staff weren't very accommodating. Worse, there were bed bugs everywhere. I woke up itching in the middle of the night, feeling bugs crawling on me. When I turned on the lights, they were all over my pillow and blanket. Some were squashed from me rolling around in my sleep. I've included pictures of the bugs on the bedding. I asked manager Alam for a full refund and said I wouldn't post this review. He offered just 100 rupees for laundry, saying that should be enough. He also said I could afford it because I'm a foreigner. It wasn't enough, and bugs were still on my backpack. I cancelled my meditation retreat in the Himalayas and left India early so I could go home and deal with the bugs and eggs on all my gear. I left some clothes, shoes, and my hat in the room. Being white doesn't mean I can afford to replace all my clothes, toiletries, bedding, and luggage.

The room wasn't clean, and the service wasn't good. The staff were arrogant. My scores for the hotel were 2/5 for cleanliness, 3/5 for staff, and 2.5/5 for room service. Think carefully before checking in.

The location is tucked away, but the rooms are clean and the staff are good. You can bargain on the price: even through an agent, a room is available for Rs 1000 to 1200. Avoid travel websites and apps since they charge extra.

We had paid in advance, but the person still didn't book a room for us and, at 2 pm at night, told us to go to another hotel. The hotel is down a small "galli," in a location that didn't feel good. The person there also tried to bully us, spoke rudely, and wasn't decent. With my family, I didn't feel safe there at all. It was dirty and unhygienic. I'm writing this so others don't go through what we did. There are better hotels on the main road in the same area, and they're cheaper too. The worst experience with this hotel.
