OYO 36011 Qlark Stay

The room had a large mouse, stained sheets, and a TV that didn't work. The bathroom was dirty, had no light, and the geyser wasn't working. There is no complimentary breakfast. Also, the manager gave the hotel a five-star rating on his own. Don't let them look at your phone: they ask to check details or dues and then rate themselves.

The hotel was nicely furnished and seemed good, but my room wasn't clean when I arrived. There was women's hair on the bedsheet, and the sheet and pillow were dirty. Breakfast was included in my booking, but they didn't provide it. The owner should keep these issues in mind.

Rats got into my room and spoiled my food, and the hygiene was poor. I used to think well of OYO rooms before this trip, but this hotel didn't meet my expectations. After such a terrible experience, I don't trust OYO rooms anymore.

The staff's rude behavior was one of the worst parts. I asked for a cold drink and offered to pay at checkout, but they insisted on cash first and refused to give it to me. I had no smaller notes, so I handed over Rs. 500 and got no change. At checkout they kept me waiting for 30 minutes over the change. Room service was much the same: after repeated calls and promises to come in 10 or 20 minutes, I had to go downstairs to reception myself. There wasn't even a towel or soap in the room. The hotel is down a small lane, with pigs roaming outside and a dirty surrounding area. Complimentary breakfast was served only after 9, and you had to ask reception for it or you wouldn't get any. It seems suited only to unmarried local couples looking for privacy.
