OYO 528 Hotel Neptune Residency

The whole stay was terrible, and it cost far too much for what was basically a dump. There was no kitchen, and apart from the doorkeeper and one night shift helper, nobody seemed concerned about guests’ convenience. We had no choice but to stay because the family function mattered more than the hotel. Staff seemed focused on bringing in customers, while deliberately leaving out important room details and making us uncomfortable. Check in took over half an hour for a simple procedure. The first room was filthy, damp smelling, and not properly dusted. After we refused it, they moved us to another room on a floor under repair. That one was just as dirty and dusty, with electrical wires hanging from the ceiling in almost every corner. The lift stopped working in the middle of the day and still hadn’t been fixed by checkout, so we had to climb three flights of stairs dressed up for a family event. When we were about to leave for the function, staff said they’d lost the key to our room. Despite repeated complaints and arguments, nothing was done. They told us to leave our belongings scattered in the room and “have faith in the staff.” Even a roll of toilet paper and two glasses of water requested at check in didn’t arrive until later that night, after I raised my voice at an employee. The place was completely out of order and not fit for even one night. A total waste of money. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
