OYO 64077 Discovery Deluxe

The room wasn't ready for a stay. The bed had been made, but that seemed to be all, and I had to keep asking staff to provide things that should have been there. They didn't even clean it properly knowing I was staying with my mom. The room was dirty, the washroom was awful, and the toilet seat was broken and risky. No toiletries were provided, and the water dispensers were kept in an unhygienic area. The food was just okay, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. One night, customers with a booking weren't allowed to stay, and the police were called to sort it out before the cousins got a room. I'm very unhappy with the service, which wasn't what I expected from OYO after booking online. It seems like a place for couples staying one night, but I wouldn't advise families to choose it.

This place only looks good from outside. Inside, it's worse than a third-rate lodge, with stained sheets and torn towels. They don't even provide soap. The staff and rooms were awful, and the whole stay was a waste of money. Never book here. It doesn't deserve a single star.

The listing said I could check in after 10 without an extra charge, but when I arrived around 10:30 they charged me 30% more. Another person checking in was treated the same way and refused the room. When I pointed out that they were losing business, the staff argued with me. I said I wouldn't book there again, and they replied, “hume koi fark ni padta...” That's no way to treat a customer. Ridiculous and terrible.

We booked through OYO on 31st dec 2019, but the quilt was thin and cold, and they wouldn't give us an extra blanket. They also refused the complimentary breakfast that was included in the booking. The receptionist took my husband's phone to check the booking ID, then rated the hotel 5 stars without telling him. I think that's why the OYO rating is 4.
