There were mice and rats all over the place, and cockroaches even got into the food I'd left on the table. The staff weren't helpful either. I'd tell people to skip this hotel and look elsewhere, and not trust the positive reviews since I think hotel staff are posting them.

We visit Delhi several times a year for a quiet getaway, and my family has always found the grand hotel clean and reasonably priced. It's close enough to town to walk, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We'd recommend staying here.

The service really let the place down. I had to keep repeating requests, which got frustrating, and in India customers expect good service as well as decent facilities. The rooms themselves are spacious, tidy, and clean. The hotel is easy to spot on the main road, near Kailash Colony metro station, and Modern Bazaar is right across the road if you need to shop.

The rooms were filthy, with wall stains and heaps of dead bugs in the light fittings. One room had a hole in the floor where the shower should have been, another had a rat dart out from under the furniture, and the last one smelled damp. The staff didn't seem to think the rats were a problem. Don't stay here.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The employees were just as good. Inside and out, the hotel feels welcoming, with lovely furniture and made quilts.
