Dinner and breakfast were included, but the food was only average. The room was clean, and the staff, including the receptionist, were polite and supportive. The linen quality needs improvement. For the price, this could have been a five-star value.

After living here for three months, the staff feel like family to me. The rooms are comfortable, though sometimes small. I enjoyed my stay, and the food is good if you like spicy traditional Indian dishes. They can also make it non-spicy if you ask.

The visitor restriction made it difficult to meet friends and family, and the staff’s conduct was even more upsetting. A middle-aged man at reception told us, “This isn’t a dhaba, you just show up and do whatever you want.” Service was also painfully slow: my black coffee took 45 minutes, while my partner’s cold coffee arrived in 10 minutes with no coffee in it, and there wasn’t even a straw. The delays and behavior made the stay a major disappointment. I hope management addresses this. I’d think twice before booking.

Room 305 had an old AC that looked like it belonged in the 1980s, though the flush worked with plenty of pressure. The bathroom was the bigger problem: there was barely enough room to use the Western toilet as an adult, and the shower was so cramped I couldn’t soap my whole body. The second floor smelled strongly of smoke; when I mentioned it, I was told guests commonly smoke in their rooms, which I don’t agree with. Breakfast came very late and wasn’t good. Those large metal doors on the room floors were unsettling, and the TV was small. I’d avoid this place if you can.
