Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Dwarka

I appreciated that the staff upgraded us to a suite after I complained. It was a little better, but still needs a major overhaul. The breakfast was good and the service excellent, though neither changed my view that this hotel falls short of Radisson standards. I’ve stayed at Radisson hotels twice as good as this one. It definitely wasn’t worth what we paid. The main advantage is being close to the metro and Aerocity, and there are some chain shops inside. The property is 14 years old and seems to have had maintenance ages ago. The furniture, doors, sofas, and furnishings are old; the air conditioning glitches, some switches don’t work properly, and the lift is old. The carpet looks like it may not have been changed in 14 years. Only one of the two lifts was working for our trip to the 9th floor. I’m not sure if Radisson is more focused on its Aerocity hotel, but if anyone there sees this, please take care of this property.

I went with my sister for a short staycation at Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Dwarka, and the calm atmosphere around the cafe Atrium areas made it easy to unwind and feel refreshed. The food was delicious, with a good variety, and the lunch and dinner spread was impressive. The property is spacious and well maintained, suited to a relaxing break as well as business travel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with the amenities you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The service, comfort, and value made for a great experience. I’d recommend it and would love to stay again.

The toiletries were excellent, but that was the one highlight of my stay at Radisson Blu Dwarka. The property looks grand, yet the maintenance and dining didn’t match the brand’s reputation or the premium price. I found the breakfast disappointing as someone from South India. The chutneys were poorly made and didn’t taste authentic, and even the omelette was bland and had no salt. In the room, the bathroom taps were loose and practically coming out of the wall. There were no clear instructions for using the bathtub or hand shower, which made what should have been a relaxing stay frustrating. For the price, guests deserve more attention to detail in the kitchen and room upkeep. The service and maintenance didn’t meet the standard I expect from a Radisson, and I hope management looks into these basic problems.

I had a pleasant time catching up with old friends. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy too. The Atrium has a relaxing feel. Some renovation work is going on at the moment. The food was really nice, and breakfast had a decent spread.
