The two rooms they showed me both smelled terrible, one on the second floor and the other on the third, so I left and booked somewhere else through another website. Before that, reception had refused the OYO booking, saying they had an ongoing issue with OYO and could only offer me a new booking directly with them. I had to insist before they even showed me a room. A really pathetic experience.

They wouldn't change our room when we asked. The floor was dusty, the towels weren't properly clean, and there was only one blanket for two people. The walls had plaster missing in several places, and there was no TV despite the booking apps, including MMT, showing one. The room photos looked at least four years old. The stay was terrible.

We had a family dinner here and the food was awesome. The staff were nicely dressed, humble, and gave really good service. We had a good experience, so I'd highly recommend the place.

The restaurant food was quite good, especially the North Indian dinner, though the chapatis seemed to have more maida (refined flour) than wheat flour. The hotel was neatly maintained, with well done, economical rooms and enough staff who responded quickly. Every request we made was taken care of, and the hospitality and courtesy were at par. During an emergency family stay in Kartarpur, this turned out better than I expected from a small town hotel. It was a pleasant stay, and the property felt like a good investment. The service was above expectations, and the hotel has some standards.
