The location was handy, quite close to the subway, and the room was surprisingly quiet for the area. It had a particular smell, but it was okay for a night. The main issue was the shower, which barely worked. As my friend put it, a star off because more water went on the ceiling than on my head. We booked this inexpensive place online and paid cash on arrival. It's dated and could use attention, though they do try. We often saw someone sweeping. We got towels, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper, despite what some reviews said, and checkout was easy: we handed back the keys and left. You can pay extra for a late checkout. For cleaning, you leave your key at the front desk; if you want staff to stay out, you keep it with you. We chose to do that. They can arrange a city or Taj Mahal tour. After reading reviews about room service charges and bottled water, we bought water across the street. I'd stay again with an easygoing friend who plans to explore all day, but maybe not with someone who wants to spend the day in the room.

I had to call the police after the staff demanded payment for an extra day. When I booked, they asked how many days I'd stay, and I said two because I had work for two days. Emergency work came up, so I checked out at 8.30 in the morning. They still tried to make me pay for another day, even though I hadn't stayed. After a lot of arguing, they forced me to pay for one day, and I called the police about it. The staff behaved very badly.

For the rates they charge, this is a good option. The hotel was hygienic, the staff were friendly, and the location is easy to get around from, with RK Ashram station right beside it.

The service left me unsatisfied, and the rooms weren't clean or hygienic. The charges were too high for that. I'd suggest staying somewhere else.
