They checked out after just 15 minutes, and my friend was traumatised. The staff wouldn’t show the room before asking for payment, then refused to refund the money. The bathroom had no water and was so filthy that just keeping a photo of it on my phone would have made me sick. I wish there were an option to give zero stars. Never book this place.
The kitchen was on the third floor, which made things harder for the elderly guests. Staff were rude and didn’t seem willing to help. Suman Mishra, the manager who handled the booking, wasn’t there and didn’t manage anything properly. I had a terrible four-day wedding stay at Townhouse Chattarpur. Most of what was promised at booking wasn’t there: clean rooms, 24/7 water, usable washrooms, a working lift, and proper maintenance. The lift was out of service, the property was dirty, the bathrooms couldn’t be used, and there was no water, including hot water in winter. The stay brought unnecessary stress during my wedding. The place is in extremely poor condition, and I strongly recommend avoiding it for any stay or event.
I booked for two days during a five-day trip to Delhi, but checked out after the first night, even though I’d paid all the fees. The building is well built, but there’s no maintenance. The bathrooms were dirty and unhygienic, the AC didn’t work, and the sheets smelled filthy. I felt disgusted and, as a woman, really uncomfortable in that room. That first night felt like a nightmare. This is my honest review and constructive criticism for the hotel authorities: please fix these problems. I don’t recommend it to anyone.
The food quality was awful, the AC didn’t work, and there was no hot water in winter. If you stay a week, you might only get to bathe on one day. The other days there’s no water, not even for the toilet. Staying here makes you feel like people by the roadside have it much better. If you’re looking for a super awful hotel, this is the one. Please don’t book it.
Even after telling the staff several times and waiting 2-3 hours, nothing was done. There was no sense of urgency or accountability, and I eventually had to leave. The service was unacceptable, and the whole stay was a waste of time. As a frequent traveler who’s stayed at plenty of hotels, this was one of my worst experiences. The water bottles they gave us had already been opened and weren’t sealed, which was very concerning for hygiene. There was no running water in the room, not even in the washroom, so I couldn’t brush my teeth, freshen up, or bathe.
