Hotel Meera Dham

The stay was frustrating from the start. We paid extra for early check-in, but got no service for it, and breakfast listed in the booking was refused. Staff said they never serve breakfast and sent us to Agoda, whose customer care line we couldn't reach. The room and bathroom were dirty despite looking newly built, with hair scattered around. We even found empty alcohol bottles inside the bed box and vomit on the wall beside the bed. Photos are available. They also had a generator but wouldn't run it, leaving us without hot water in the December cold, and the elevator wasn't working. My elderly parents were with me. They seemed to deny every request. We were completely disappointed and frustrated. I can answer questions on Google because I feel they are trying to mislead people.

A nice place to stay, especially for its convenient location for Baba darshan.

We arrived late in the evening with a confirmed booking, only to be refused entry and sent to another property far from the temple. The management handled it in a really unethical way. I've stayed in bad hotels before, but this was the worst. Avoid it if you're travelling with family.

The rooftop terrace has lovely city views, and the hotel is only a short walk from Baba Baidyanath Temple. Hotel Meera Dham is a budget option in Deoghar, Jharkhand, with single, double, and family rooms. Some rooms have temple-facing balconies. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a few can feel small. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price is affordable. There’s a restaurant and bar too, though the food is average. There’s no pool. I’d recommend it to budget travellers wanting a clean, comfortable stay in Deoghar. Hotel view.
