We booked Shri Hari through MakeMyTrip for a budget trip to Deoghar, and it was very good value for money. Baba Baidyanath temple is just a 10 minutes walk away, so the location gets 5/5. The room was clean, and for a budget hotel they provided towels, shampoo, a water bottle, and even hot water, which we hadn't expected. The staff were very polite and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend it. 5/5

There’s a restaurant close by with really good North Indian and Chinese food, and the temple is only about a 7-10 minute walk away. The hotel itself is in a great spot, with clean, roomy rooms, WiFi and a lift. The staff were very good too. I’d recommend it for families, couples or solo travellers.

The underground parking was a plus, but the stay was awful. The power went out more than five times during the night, and the DG backup wasn’t working.

The staff were very polite, which was the one good part. The rest of my stay was disappointing: an exposed wire gave me an electric shock, the tap barely had any water pressure, and the sheets and towels were terrible quality. The table and chairs were dusty too.

The rooms were clean and good, and they provided water and a bathroom kit. The lift was available, and the service was superb. It’s also a short walk to Mandir, about 10 minutes to the main jyotirlinga mandir.
