The hotel itself was in good condition, and the staff apart from Mr. Laxmi were supportive. But when I arrived at 3.00 am on 11th October, Mr. Laxmi wouldn't give me a room without extra payment, even after I showed him my booking on his tab. I decided to leave that day, but he wouldn't cancel the next day and told me to find another hotel. With an emergency and no other choice, I paid for two days. There was no card-swiping facility, and he also charged me for the complimentary breakfast. I left after just one day, despite paying for two, and was very disappointed.

Getting around was difficult: the place is quite far from the main road, there are no eateries nearby, and finding an Uber at midnight was hard. Even in the daytime you might wait a long time. Inside, the router was at one end of the living room, so there was hardly a Wi-Fi signal in my room. The bathroom had only a dirty bucket and mug, the washbasin tap was broken, and there were no towels or toiletries. The blankets smelled of cigarettes. Service was pathetic. I arrived to check in at 11 at night and the owner demanded more money before giving me the keys. When I asked for a receipt, he said OYO would email me. Later, I got an email saying the proprietor had cancelled my booking as a 'no show'. He kept all the cash.

The one real downside was the power backup. When the electricity went out for a few minutes, we were left in the dark. Otherwise, I liked this place a lot: it's a clean, nice 2BHK house, with great room service and a clean bathroom with hot water all the time. The TV is in the living hall, which may not suit someone who wants to watch from bed, but there is a good sofa. It's a little inwards, yet OLA and UBER can find you without trouble. A side note, off topic: private rentals and taxis are a rip-off. Use OLA or UBER. I could have saved 5k+.

No lift here, so you'll be taking the stairs even to the second or third floor. I was on the second. The rooms are clean and kept very neatly, and although it's a little away from the main road, it's a calm, quiet place to stay.
