The market is close, and the hotel staff will escort guests when the Tuesday weekly market makes it difficult for cars to arrive or leave. We found that help useful. In house food is unnecessarily expensive, though there are food joints nearby. Housekeeping can be slow, and coordination between teams sometimes affects the guest experience. We stayed at Chambers Mahabaleshwar from 26/5/2026 to 29/5/2026, and the peaceful ambience made for a relaxing getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade. Since Club Mahindra took over the property, there are activities for guests, some paid and some free. Aditya at the restaurant was especially hospitable and kept making sure we enjoyed our meals. Despite the service issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in Mahabaleshwar.
