Hotel Presidency

The staff made my one-night stop really enjoyable. They were cheerful and attentive, and the team took good care of me. The chefs prepared meals specially so my stomach wouldn't be upset during the flights, and they even stopped for a chat since dinner wasn't busy. I only needed somewhere to sleep and breakfast in the morning, and that was enough. I'd recommend it as an airport stopover if the location suits what you need.

I booked a king-size bed for my late check-in, but there weren't any left, so the receptionist politely gave me a double-bed room instead. It was spacious, had a city view, and toiletries were provided. I was staying to catch an early flight from Bangalore Airport. You can take a KSRTC bus from Majestic and get off at Sadahalli bus stop, about 100 mtrs from the hotel. A cab to the airport cost me 230 rs including toll, with the toll plaza nearby, though rides can range from 230 rs to 600 rs. I also took an Uber around 9 pm for 320 rs, while that ride can cost anywhere from 300 to 1000.

The location near the toll plaza caused trouble because several cabs declined the ride due to the toll. I had to go to the kitchen myself to order food after repeated calls for room service were ignored. Eventually, a housekeeper brought it up in an arrogant way, despite the staff speaking politely to me otherwise. I was alone, but they gave me a two-bed room, which I accepted. The room felt very old, though the bed was clean and comfortable. For the price it was average, and I don't think it was worth 3K a night. When I wanted to extend my stay, they made me change hotels. 👍

We stayed overnight around our flights in and out of BLR. The rooms were simple and spacious, the hot water was plentiful, and both dinner and breakfast were decent. We were more than happy with the stay.
