Hotel Sumandeep International by OYO Rooms

The food was bad too. The chicken was very tough, and I found a hair in the Dal Fry. The rooms had poor facilities, dirty, stained bathrooms, and a strong smell of smoke in the room and on the pillow. When guests raised issues, the general manager and employees ignored them instead of sorting them out. Hotel Sumandeep International in Maithon did not feel suitable for families, business or corporate guests, or private individuals. There were girls around during the day and night, and the environment seemed illegal. Please, everyone, avoid staying or dining here. The poor facilities and service made it feel like everybody’s money was wasted.

I waited 1 hour and 38 minutes for the food to arrive. The room was also in a very disappointing state. There were visible stains and what looked like hair from a previous guest on the bedsheets, and the room smelled like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom was worse, with a broken lock on the door, a hole, and a sticky marble floor. When I asked reception for a room change or even fresh sheets, they refused.

I ordered the “Midday Meal,” and it’s looking more like a “Mid-Next-Week” meal now. I’m not saying the service is slow, but evolution seems to happen faster than this kitchen can toast bread.

We got a water bottle from the waiter, but no glasses. The staff were arguing and using abusive language with each other, which looked very unprofessional. Management also seemed unable to handle things properly when a family visits. This place doesn’t work well for big families.
