The owner was very kind, the rooms were clean, and the view was amazing, though it seems underrated. I stayed here in July and now book this place whenever I go to mcleodganj. It’s about a two-minute drive from the main square.

There’s no parking on site, but the staff will arrange parking for your vehicle. They’re generous, and there’s an in-house kitchen. The homestay is high up on the mountain, which older people may not find suitable, but it’s a great deal for youngsters.
The location made it easy to explore on foot: Bhagsu water fall is nearby, and I walked to Dharamkot too. Staff helped with my luggage throughout my stay in mcleodganj and gave me guidance about the area. They were kind and thoughtful, and the service went beyond what I expected. My room was cleaned and sanitized whenever I asked, and I felt safe there. The food was delicious and good value. I was really happy with the care and safety measures, and got a lovely taste of pahadi culture. Thankyou so much for a great stay.
Rooms were average and cleanliness was average too, while the facilities were poor. There wasn't proper staff or proper facilities, and apart from one person the staff were unprofessional. The homestay sits up high, so parking isn't properly available. I wouldn't recommend it for families.
We had booked just one night, but the staff looked after our luggage for three days. The hotel owner and staff were genuinely humble. One of my best experiences with this hotel.
