Hotel Sambyal Wings

The rooms were spotless and nicely equipped, with lovely views of the area. We also made good use of the fitness center and spa, and the location was handy for getting to popular sights and restaurants. From arrival onward, the staff greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely keen to make us comfortable. The stay surpassed what I expected, and I’d happily recommend the hotel.

A handy base for a trip to Triund, and Bhagsu Water falls is nearby. We stayed with friends and found the staff kind and helpful. There’s also a small dorm right in front of the hotel, run by the hotel itself, and it’s cheaper than the other nearby dorms. I’d recommend the place to anyone heading out for the Triund Truck.

We were 12 people, and every one of us had a bad stay. The rooms were awful, and carrying luggage up to the second floor was difficult because there’s no lift. The food arrived uncooked. When we raised it, the owner made excuses and the conversation turned into a fight. His manner was unprofessional. We asked for lukewarm drinking water and were given water from the bathroom geyser. I’d say a clear no to staying here; the experience was terrible.

Water kept dripping all night, and the washroom felt like a tsunami. We couldn’t sleep. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room had only two lights. When we asked for water, we were told to fetch it ourselves, and it was a long way to go for water and even dinner. I wouldn’t recommend this pathetic hotel.
