Hotel Sky Pie

The peaceful surroundings and clean, comfortable, well-kept rooms made for a relaxing stay. From the room, the mountain view was breathtaking, and the big windows and balcony opened up a panoramic look at the hills, especially at sunrise and sunset. The food was outstanding too, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented from breakfast through dinner. You could taste the care in it. Had an amazing experience at Sky Pie Dharamshala. Great for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for some peace. Highly recommend it for the food, views, and cozy but luxurious feel. I'll definitely visit again.

The communication was confusing and unprofessional when we tried to speak to the owner. They gave us a number for someone who didn't seem to be the actual owner, and we never got through to the real management. Later communication became difficult, and even the owner's phone was switched off. We were travelling from Chandigarh as a group and had expected a smooth stay based on the online photos and promises. We were first booked at Sky Pie Hotel, then shifted without warning to Sky Bhagsu after arriving. They said it was because of construction, but it later felt like someone else had been given the rooms we'd booked. The room didn't match the pictures. It was poorly maintained, smelled unpleasant, and had no proper view like the one advertised. For a similar price, there are better hotels. The whole experience felt misleading and badly managed, and disappointed our group.

We booked Hotel Sky Pie well ahead for an office trip, expecting a comfortable stay. The day before we arrived, staff said the rooms weren't available because of construction work and a blocked washroom. We trusted them and agreed to their alternative, thinking we'd get somewhere of a similar standard. Instead, they moved us to Hotel Sky Bhagsu, where the rooms were poorly maintained, not clean, and extremely uncomfortable. We later went to Hotel Sky Pie to check the claimed construction. There was no construction or blockage, and foreign guests were already occupying the rooms we'd booked. It seemed clear our reservation had been given to other guests, likely for a higher price, and we'd been misled with excuses. That is unprofessional and unacceptable. When we requested the owner's contact details, staff refused and kept giving us different numbers and excuses. That made an already frustrating situation worse and completely ruined our team office trip. The rude attitude added to it. Avoid Hotel Sky Pie and Hotel Sky Bhagsu. They don't respect bookings, aren't transparent, and behaved unprofessionally.

The peaceful atmosphere, tasty food, and beautiful mountain views made for an amazing stay at Hotel Sky Pie. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional. Abhinash deserves a special thanks for being so helpful and polite. He was available when we needed him and made sure everything was arranged to keep us comfortable. Lucky and Sahil were also warm and supportive. Highly recommended for a visit to the area. I'll definitely come back.
