Owner Shailendra ji was available throughout, and the service, food from both the restaurant and room service, and the rooms were all very good. We stayed five days with our team, then booked all the rooms for one night for our guests while hosting the Dharamshala marathon. Hotel Solitude was our official stay partner. A really good experience, and I’d recommend it for individuals, families, or corporate group bookings.

MMT confirmed my refund, but the booking experience was alarming. I’d booked more than three months ahead, then called four weeks before the trip to ask about parking. That’s when the hotel told me my reservation had been cancelled. MMT later confirmed by email that the hotel had cancelled it on its own without contacting me. If I’d only discovered that at check-in, my family could have been left without a place to stay. I wouldn’t trust this hotel again, whether booking directly or through a travel site.

The staff were really nice, and the food tasted home cooked. We also had lovely scenic views from the balcony at this beautiful property, with nature all around. It was a wonderful stay.

The rooms were warm, the staff friendly, and the service great. It’s right by Dharamshala stadium, so I’d definitely stay here again when in the area.
