The rooftop bar is a nice place to unwind in the evening with a view, and the food was tasty. We stayed two nights, and the hotel’s location near the cricket stadium is its biggest plus. The interiors are modern, with good views of the city and stadium from the room. A few maintenance problems got in the way: the bathroom smelled unpleasant throughout, the basin leaked onto the floor, and the TV remote didn’t work. Decent stay otherwise.

The room view was quite decent, and the rooms themselves were pretty good without being too expensive. It’s about a 25-minute walk from dharamshala stadium. Service and staff were great, and you can hold events on the terrace too.

We found the staff very friendly and at home, and the restaurant food was soothing. Try their kadhai chicken if you can. Our room was cleaned daily, right on time. The views from both the room and terrace are breathtaking, and the location is just perfect. We loved staying at Square One hotel and will definitely come back.

We spent three days here and had a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful throughout: someone brought our bags to the room without being asked, showed us how things worked, and the restaurant and cleaning teams were quick and polite. Check-in and checkout were swift, with more than one person at the spacious lobby reception ready to help. We chose a mountain view room, which was spotless and neatly arranged, with plenty of storage for bags. The bedding was spotless too. The all-weather AC was a lifesaver, and the Dhauladhars looked majestic from the bed and balcony. The bathroom was shiny clean, with toiletries, a glass shower partition, clean soft towels, and hot water all the time. The basin seemed a little small and splashed water around, just an observation. Breakfast with a view on the rooftop was worthwhile. There’s seating inside and out, and the biryani, paratha, omelette, sandwich, and toast we tried were quite good. The hotel is on Dharamshala-Palampur road near Govt ITI, so getting there was easy. Six cars fit in the parking area. A few times, vehicles from the ground-floor shops were unloading, but the Manager and front desk staff handled it well, and it wasn’t an issue. I’d like to thank the management and staff for running the place so well. The standards felt comparable to some super luxury hotels I’ve stayed in.
