The rooms are decent and have the basics, including a TV, kettle, air conditioning, and good hot water. The food was good as well, especially the aloo paratha at breakfast. Dhaulpur has very few decent places to stay, and RB Palace is one of them. Our check-in wasn't smooth: even though we'd made a confirmed CLEARTRIP booking a month earlier, the manager said the hotel was fully booked. It seemed likely they'd given the rooms to a marriage party. Thankfully, he managed to accommodate us for one night. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and not lowering the rating.

The actual room didn't match the photo in the review, and the charges are high. There's no smart TV or seating arrangement in the room 😕

For a small town like Dholpur, the hotel is decent for an average budget. The service is good, and the front desk staff are very nice.

The deluxe room was good, well equipped, and even better than I expected. It had a very efficient water heater, and the washroom was clean. The food was tasty, and hygiene was good. One thing for room service: please wait at the door after ringing the bell. Sometimes staff ring and immediately try to unlock the door, or try the handle without ringing first.
