OYO 64708 Trinayan Associates

We were in room 108 on the first floor. The room itself was clean and nice, but the food was very expensive. One female employee came to serve us smelling of alcohol on her breath. Is this the kind of staff the hotel employs? I hope they respond to this and make sure we don’t get service like that next time.

Getting there can be difficult because the address listed on several platforms, including Google, is wrong, and there’s no direct contact number. Once inside, keep in mind that this is a homestay with rules, including taking off your shoes and not bringing in outside food. The washrooms are tiny, the old ACs don’t cool well on the hot top floor, and drinking water is only available for sale. They also stick to rules like one towel per room and won’t provide an iron. Cleaning covered the bed and bathroom, but the wardrobes and almirahs were dirty. Some helpers were good, while others were stubborn. It doesn’t cost much, which is a plus, but the place seems focused on making money from the home while keeping effort and expense low and controlling guests.

We arrived at 6 am, as I’d discussed the day before, and they wouldn’t open the gate. The staff said there were no rooms and told us to leave, despite my confirmed OYO booking and the call I’d made in advance. I was with my senior-citizen father, and being turned away in front of my parents was humiliating. The staff’s behavior was awful. OYO was no help either. They apparently just email the hotel staff, without confirming the reservation or caring about the customer’s situation. They seem to list low-rated hotels, and communication between OYO and the property is poor. A horrible experience.

The washroom setup in the AC-level rooms wasn’t suitable, and cleanliness was poor throughout. The hotel felt dusty and unhygienic, and the food quality wasn’t good.
