The corridor smelled really bad, like public toilets, and the rooms weren’t clean or hygienic. There was no room service. The AC and TV remotes weren’t available, and the TV didn’t work.

The room and bathroom were dirty, and ants were crawling on the bed. Half the switches didn’t work, and the fan regulator was faulty too. The service was absolutely rubbish, and the price was way too high. Don’t stay here. There are other good hotels in digha for a lot less.

The staff’s behaviour was very disappointing. Even though we were in an AC room, they didn’t provide the AC remote. In my view, they need to improve both their behaviour and facilities if they don’t want to ruin their business.

After we arrived, we found two of the three rooms were small and one was okay, but all were in a pathetic condition. There was a broken toilet seat and door, dirty bedsheets and walls, no toiletries or packed drinking water, and no landline phones in the rooms. A rod was sticking out of one bed and could have hurt us. They said the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Room service was denied until we started saying we would deduct money. We paid Rs. 1500 per day for each room and had booked three rooms for two days. Since we booked online, they’d sent amazing pictures. After payment, the manager told us one room would be a little smaller, but the price wouldn’t be reduced. We accepted that. The manager gave us angry looks and offered no solutions to our problems. He slept at the hotel entrance and refused to talk to anyone, even though it was office time. The hotel restaurant’s food was good for the price, but service was very slow. They took orders despite not having most of the ingredients, then didn’t fulfill them properly.
