I booked room 408 for one day. The new AC cooled well, and you can see Jagannath Temple from the window. The sea is about 100 metres away on foot. The room had some damp and wasn't very clean. The pillow cover looked fine, but inside it was so dirty that I didn't want to stay. The elevator was partly out of order. There's a swimming pool and gym, but they cost extra.

I stayed at wera hotel new digha for 3 daus. The staff bhavir was very bad, both the female staff and the male staff.
The welcome was warm, and the staff were well behaved. The food was tasty and felt healthy. A good place.
The hospitality was very poor, and the staff behaved badly too. For the price, the room quality wasn't good. The AC didn't work properly, and even after repeated repairs, water kept leaking from it.
The food was the one good part. Everything else made this an awful stay at such an expensive hotel in Digha. The sheets and pillow covers were stained, and the washrooms were very untidy. The place looks like it could be five star, but it really isn't. The pool atmosphere was unpleasant, with people drinking hard liquor, dancing, and behaving inappropriately in the water. It didn't seem to be a private pool. I’d urge anyone checking in to ask whether alcohol is allowed there. The manager seems to let this go without considering the hotel's reputation, and the management was horrible. The arrangements were very, very poor.
