If being near the railway station is your main concern, Hotel Ratnodeep is a low-cost place to stay in New Digha. Its attached restaurant serves basic Bengali meals at affordable prices. The main drawback is the condition of the rooms and bathrooms, which many guests say need better maintenance. Cleanliness is a common concern in recent reviews, and service can be hit or miss. It may work for a short budget stay, but for more comfort, you could look at nearby 3-star hotels.

The food and service were good, and the beach is about 8 minutes away. The rooms, though, were dirty and didn't look like the pictures. Use Google Maps to find the way there. Don't believe the toto drivers who ask 100 rupees to take you, then use a longer route to mislead you.

I like quiet places when I'm on vacation, without lots of people or noise, and this hotel is a good fit for that. The area is peaceful and gives you the feeling of being in a forest. Old digha park is nearby and within walking distance. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the rent. They charged 650 rupees per head for an AC room and food.
