We had a lovely sea view from the rooftop garden, with a soft breeze up there. Inside, the rooms felt spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic for the price, and room service was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay at New Gitanjali Hotel.

Mr. Ajoy Das at the Restaurent, perhaps the manager, spoke and behaved very badly. I was so disappointed that I reported him to the front office, and I think he should be suspended or perhaps asked to resign. The rest of the hotel staff were polite and helpful, especially housekeeping, and room service was very good. It is still one of the best properties in Digha.

We were able to enjoy our holiday in Digha in comfort. The rooms were kept up well, the ambience was relaxing, and the service and hospitality were excellent. It was a wonderful stay.

The tip situation was uncomfortable. Staff gathered around us in a way that felt like an attempt to extort money, and they could approach guests more pleasantly. Also, the feedback form should be signed at checkout rather than the day before. Apart from that, we had no issues. It was a good experience, and best of luck for the future.

The general manager, Mr. Sudip Dasgupta, was extremely warm, and the housekeeping staff were too. The rooms have balconies and good ventilation. Food was good, though ask about the chicken pakoda first, it's a peculiar one. I'd visit again.
