Venus Hotel Digha

I stayed for a week as a solo traveller and usually check genuine reviews before visiting. The fresh, tasty food made the hotel feel a bit like home. Three people looked after things, and all three were humble. I'd recommend it for a longer stay!

The restaurant is a handy feature, and the staff were very good with us. The hotel was also neat and clean, so I had a very good stay.

The owner made our one-night stay with family a great experience and helped us with everything. The rooms are small, but two people can manage comfortably, and ours were clean. I hadn't stayed there that night and came back later, and he let me stay as an extra guest for three hours.

Getting to New Digha sea beach took around 10 to 15 minutes for roughly 1.2 km, so the hotel wasn't the closest or the farthest. We stayed in room 104. The ceiling, especially in the bathroom, was very dirty, with spiders around, and the bedsheet and pillow cover weren't properly maintained. Staff were courteous, though. I'd call the stay average. Better to go there and pick a room instead of booking ahead.
