Our stay at The Carlton Kodaikanal from 25 February to 28 February was pleasant, thanks mainly to the lovely lakeside setting and the attentive, friendly staff, who were always ready to help and made us feel welcome. The scenic location made the visit enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, though they felt dated and could use upgrades or refurbishment to match the hotel's location and reputation. With improvements to the rooms, the experience could be even better.

We felt valued throughout our stay at The Carlton, and the team's dedication and warmth helped make it memorable. The property, lake views, food, and hospitality were excellent. We celebrated my wife's birthday, and Mr. Ashok (F&B Manager) organized everything perfectly. Kannan, Gokul, and Maya Kannan created beautiful decorations for the occasion. Mr. Shanmugam from Housekeeping was also wonderful, always helpful, courteous, and attentive. Thank you for the lovely memories. We can't wait to visit again!

There's a wide food selection at both the buffet and alcarte, and the food is delicious. The evening activities, including housie, campfire with music, magic show, and karakatta dance, kept guests engaged. The hotel also has plenty of premium rooms with astonishing kodai lake views, ample parking, a well-maintained garden, amenities, hearth, restaurant, travel desk, and spa. It's an excellent 5 star hotel in the heart of the kodai town. A couple of suggestions: pool table and air hockey games should be complimentary for guests. Many food items were low on salt and spice, though I'm not sure if that's standard for 5 star hotels. To conclude, its

This was our 5th family visit to The Carlton, and we had another excellent, memorable stay. We booked 2 rooms, both comfortable, clean, well-maintained, and well suited to a family. Every meal was good quality and tasted perfect, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Anand, who runs activities for in-house guests, deserves a special mention. He led the Housie/Tambola games and was friendly, helpful, and engaging with our family. His energy made the visit more enjoyable. We would definitely come back, and we're already looking forward to our 6th stay very soon. Highly recommended for families wanting a pleasant, relaxing time in Kodaikanal.

The location at The Carlton, Kodaikanal was beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable. Good food and exceptional hospitality made the stay a wonderful experience. Mr. Murugesan and the Bell Desk team were warmly helpful, while Mr. Shanmugam and Mr. Nagaraj provided excellent housekeeping. Their efforts added greatly to our comfort. Looking forward to visiting again!
