The Peak Resorts

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the resort had a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and quick to help, and breakfast was tasty. A peaceful weekend escape, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We came from Bangalore for three days and two nights with the kids, and the whole family loved our stay at The Peak Resort. The views were beautiful, the property was clean, and everyone was warm and friendly. Breakfast was especially good, as was the rest of the food. It felt like a well-earned five-star break. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting Kodaikanal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The sunrise view from the resort was fantastic, and the staff were polite and took care of what we needed. It’s a little away from the Lake, which suited us. Food is made after you order, and both dinner and breakfast were good. Breakfast was complimentary, though the choices were limited. There’s no lunch, but food prices are reasonable and good value. We booked one Deluxe room and one Suite for two nights over the 2026 Pongal holidays, after comparing several Kodaikanal resorts and finding this one fit our budget and had better reviews. The Deluxe felt a bit small, fine for two adults, but cramped with a third adult and an extra mattress. The Suite has another door leading to the camp fire area. It was locked, but there was a small ventilation opening that made my family uncomfortable while using the bathroom. Still, we had a nice stay without any issues, and felt it was good value.

The food was comforting, made in-house, and cheaper than eating at outside hotels. The outdoors were kept tidy, and service was decent. Pricing was affordable compared with other places. It’s a peaceful location, though a little far from the city center. The main concern was mold around the ceiling corners in both the room and toilet. They really need to look into that. There are no lunch options, and the Deluxe room is small, suitable for only 2+1.
