The location is great, but the rooms are poor and the products in them feel like cheap plastic. Food and service were average. I came back in 2026 after a 2024 stay, bringing my family for what I hoped would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the start, service was poor and food quality had gone downhill. I had said at check-in that I might extend if service was good, but we left a day early. In 2024, we had complained about dirty carpets, mold, a broken room phone, and bathroom essentials that weren't properly stocked. Nothing was resolved or compensated for. The Resident Manager promised the next visit would be immaculate, but that didn't happen. I thought a second visit might be better, but this will be my last time here. I won't return. No wonder it feels like a ghost town.

Breakfast at Madras Pavilion was a highlight, with lots of choice, great quality, and everything tasting just right. The staff also made a real difference, giving professional, personal attention throughout. Our room was spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable, and the pool area was a relaxing place to unwind. A classy, memorable stay at ITC Grand Chola. I'd happily come back.

The buffet was a satisfying way to start the day, with bread, fruit, hot dishes, and cereal, all nicely presented. The hotel felt grand but was still clean and comfortable, and the lobby's staircase and ceiling lights were especially striking. I stayed about a week ago and found the interior beautiful and the service reliable. It was a pleasant, comfortable visit, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Chennai.

I attended the Commercial Vehicle Conference here and had a great time. The discussions were insightful, coordination was smooth, and there were excellent chances to network. The banquet setup, atmosphere, food, and staff support were all top-notch. ITC Grand Chola has real grandeur and hospitality, and works very well for large corporate events and business conferences in Chennai. Highly recommended.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with plenty of variety and excellent quality, and the food overall was good. The hosts were warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the stay feel special. ITC Grand Chola really lives up to its name, with a grand, luxurious property and palace-like feel throughout. For me, it's the best ITC experience in Chennai and one of the city's most iconic stays. A fantastic luxury visit, highly recommended.
