Hotel Ashiyana

Diu has around 8-10 lovely places to explore, from Diu Fort and St. Paul’s Church to Jalandhar Beach, Ghoghla Beach, and Nagoa Beach, where you can do all kinds of water activities. There’s also INS Khukri Memorial and its sunset point, the Heritage Walkway, and Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple. It’s a great holiday spot for quality time with family and friends, with the seaside all around. You can find good, affordable food and accommodation at Apna Hotel, Apna Pure Veg Foodland, Apar Hotel, Apar Garden Pure Veg Restaurant, and Ashiyana Hotel (for stay only). They’re all close to each other, between 200 meters and 1 kilometer, so you can walk between them. The bus stop is nearby too, about 500 meters away. Visit Diu at least once and enjoy a memorable family holiday.

We had a great time here with my friends. The owner was so nice, and the hotel felt safe for families. Rooms were clean and right near the market, though there’s no kitchen. Vegetarian food is available nearby. The location is good, and I’ll definitely book this hotel next time.

The receptionist was gentle and the place was clean enough for its class, though not neat. It’s actually a house converted into a hotel. The narrow road and lack of parking are the drawbacks.

I ended up booking another hotel and didn’t stay here. It’s a house converted into a property on a very narrow lane, with no parking, so getting in is a real hassle. There’s no food service, and the rooms are very small. The bathroom was in a terrible state and poorly maintained. Even to get a basic coffee, you have to walk nearly 100 meters along a dusty, zigzag lane. The staff didn’t seem cooperative or interested in customers. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in Diu.
