The rooms were clean and well looked after, and there’s plenty to do, from the gaming zone and nature walks to fishing and the paid crocodile-watching boat trip, which costs 750 per person. There are also several banquets for functions. It’s a peaceful place away from the city, though getting there means taking the ferry since there’s no road connection. The ferry is free for people and costs 10rs for four-wheelers. The food tastes good and the spread is decent, but it hardly changes from day to day. It’s the same idli and watermelon juice, though luckily you can order dosa or an omelette at the live counter.

The garden outside was lovely, with lots of greenery and a peaceful feel. I enjoyed spending time there. My room was comfortable, clean, and kept spotless by Kedar from Housekeeping, who also added a beautiful decoration. Samisa from Recreation was so friendly and helpful, and even helped me with fishing, which made my stay more fun. The F&B staff were warm and attentive, and the food was delicious. Everyone I met was polite and ready to help, and the overall service was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend the hotel. I’m looking forward to coming back.

The thoughtful gesture that stayed with us was the F&B team packing two bags of snacks for our drive to Mumbai. When they heard we were leaving at 4:30 AM, they made sure we had refreshments for the road. They didn’t have to do that, but it says a lot about Devaaya's hospitality. This was a high-quality family stay, and we’re grateful to the F&B and Housekeeping teams for looking after everything so well. The courtyard staff also deserve mention for keeping the grounds clean. We were especially touched by the camaraderie among the staff. People from different states brought their own cultures and worked together like a family. That teamwork makes a real difference to guests, so please keep that bond alive. Avina has gone the extra mile to stay in touch with me through calls and emails, and she’s a big reason we’ve kept returning to Devaaya since our first visit in May 2022. It’s the calm surroundings and cozy feel that make Devaiyya Resort, Goa such a relaxing place to stay. Everything was beautifully maintained, and we found ourselves wishing we could stay longer. From arrival, the staff were welcoming, polite, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was another highlight, with delicious meals full of authentic Goan flavor. Each one felt a little different and special.
