Breakfast had a big spread of continental and Indian food, from dosas and idli to omelet, breads, and muffins. The indoor games were the best part for me. Staff were super helpful, and the pool was really well maintained with an amazing view. Getting there was a bit difficult, but the valley, fog, and mountain range views were definitely worth it.

Jayanthi was so good with us at dining and took care of everything we needed. The female staff especially worked really hard and made us feel at home. The rooms and balconies were my favorite, with such a calm, peaceful feel. It’s another very good option in sakleshpur, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. It’s not quite at Marriott standards yet, though I hope it gets there. Desserts could use work, they’re mediocre, but the rest of the food was very good. The North Indian dishes were especially amazing. Thanks for making our stay lovely.

I was nervous because of some negative reviews, but they didn’t match what we experienced. Points were accepted, and we didn’t see discrimination anywhere. It’s a coffee plantation in the hills, so don’t expect great roads. There’s a mud road for about 1 km near the resort, but it really wasn’t that bad. Hospitality was the best part. Lots of families had toddlers, and everyone took great care of my son. Jenny and Jayanti pampered him and even prepared special food for him. The chefs were good, especially Hasan, and Susanta always made sure we had a good dining experience.

The sunset here is unbeatable, and the property itself is beautiful and very picturesque. But for what it costs, the service doesn’t match. This is a tie-up between ferns and marriott bonvoy, so I expected the kind of service and class Marriott offers, and it wasn’t close. The staff are good-natured, though communication could be better. Nobody seemed to know Kannada well, and their English was poor. They could also be more hospitable. The photos of thottimane made it look like we’d have the whole house, but what’s offered is just a room. High tea was self-service, with tea, coffee, and some substandard cookies, which was hard to believe. The à la carte was good, but the buffet breakfast was bad. I think the location promises more than the property delivers. Maybe rosetta is a better choice.
