OYO 37028 Hotel Sheela

The rooms are great, and the hotel is on the main road. I booked through oyo rooms. The bed and AC were good, and after the first room I'd been shown, the rest of the stay went fairly smoothly. But reception was chaotic, I had to switch rooms five minutes after seeing the first one, there was no water for an hour, and the bathroom flooded.

I regret staying here. Even after I paid for double occupancy, the owner asked for more money and said Oyo takes a huge commission, so they weren’t earning enough. Please think about the value of your money before booking. Tuli and Parakh hotel were much better, with great manners and service.

The room is spacious and has plenty of room, with a sofa and other things available. The washroom needs cleaning, especially the toilet and cistern, which were very dirty. There’s no food at the hotel, and nearby I could only find gupchup, so you’ll have to rely on online delivery. The staff were rude, particularly the receptionist.

I paid 2200 for two days, which felt high given what I got. The room was dirty, the washroom unhygienic, and it didn’t look like the one shown online. They didn’t provide the promised TV, WiFi, or AC, and I never saw anything being sanitized. After two days, they hadn’t changed the bedsheet once, and there was no real room service. The staff were careless and irresponsible. When I asked to stay six more hours, they charged me for a full day. I also suspect the ratings may be paid for, since they generally seem to rate themselves. This was the worst Oyo hotel I’ve stayed at, and I wouldn’t choose it for a family trip without thinking twice.
