The owner was unreachable throughout our stay and even switched off the phone, so we couldn’t get help when we needed it. Breakfast was meant to be included but never came. We were charged a huge amount, yet the facilities were poorly maintained and the pool was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. Varkala Explore Pool Villa didn’t deliver on what it promised. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

We expected basic care and hospitality, but the customer service fell far short. The pool was one of the property’s main advertised attractions, yet it hadn’t been maintained. We asked several times to use it, but were turned away because it wasn’t clean. That made for a very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone hoping for a relaxing or enjoyable getaway.
