The owner was kind and the staff were good, and the five rooms I booked were clean and neat. I chose this property for my engagement after checking several resorts. Their prices were high, but this one was very reasonable. There’s a pool too, and the whole experience was incredible. If you’re dreaming of an outdoor function, I’d say go for it. You won’t regret it ❤️❤️

The location is lovely, but the management and customer service were awful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with family. The rules say boys’ groups aren’t allowed, yet the resort had only boys’ groups while we were there. It’s isolated and has no security. Two drunk men came onto the property and behaved badly toward women. You have to ask for every detail you need, or you may not get it. Our room had no TV at check-in. They brought one late at night after I insisted, but it didn’t work because the room had no WiFi, only the area outside. The WiFi issue was fixed only when we were checking out after two days. There was an AC in the room, but MMT listed it as a non-AC room, then charged 1500 per day to use the AC.

The scenery was a big part of what made the wedding celebration feel so special. Serene Lake Resort has peaceful lakeside views, lovely natural surroundings, and a beautifully kept, elegant atmosphere. The event was well organized, and the staff were helpful and courteous the whole time. There was a great range of fresh, tasty food too. It’s a lovely place for a wedding, or for anyone hoping to relax somewhere close to nature.

The price was great and the rooms were nice. My only complaint was the AC, which was capped at 26-27 degrees. I wish it could go lower.

The cottages are cozy and tucked into greenery, and the lake views are beautiful. Kappil beach is really close too. At night it’s wonderfully calm, so this was a lovely place to unwind with friends or family. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A little more upkeep and quicker service would help, but we really enjoyed staying here ✨🏖️
