I paid for two nights but didn’t stay at the hotel because the service and condition were extremely poor. The property looked nothing like its website photos, which showed somewhere modern, clean, and well kept. In person it was outdated and poorly maintained, and the rooms were smaller, duller, and less clean than the pictures suggested. I felt misled by the difference. Even though the cancellation period had passed, I think the hotel should have considered the circumstances and offered basic customer support. They refused any refund. Policies matter, but so do customer satisfaction and basic service standards. That response reflects very poorly on their service and professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and will definitely .

We booked their 4 beded room through Agoda for 2600. The toiletries and amenities were great, and the service was good. It’s a decent, clean hotel near South Ernakulam Railway Station (Cochin).

The workers were very friendly, especially kishan kumar. We were visiting kerela for the first time and only spoke Hindi, not Malayalam, and he helped us. He was from Bihar and knew Hindi, and was really sweet and kind. The room itself was okay, though opening the drawer revealed namkeens spilt all over, so we couldn’t put anything in it. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but they ordered food for us. Cleanliness and hygiene were a bit questionable: I saw a cockroach and the towels looked used. Room service was also a bit late. The experience was just fine, neither good nor bad.

My stay at Hotel Kochi Caprice was a very bad experience. There was a constant smell of smoke in the room, and the door was visibly damaged. Staff seemed indifferent to guests’ needs, and requests got little urgency. It made the place feel unwelcoming.

The service staff were a real plus. When called, they came within no time, which was good. The rooms are okay for a stay, and flexible check-in is available, especially helpful if you reach the station very early. It’s somewhat near the south railway station and close to Kadavantra metro station. I booked directly with reception and was worried after reading the recent Google reviews, but my stay didn’t feel that bad. The facilities were not too bad otherwise. My only issue was water leaking from the AC when we set it to 22, even after service staff cleaned the filter. Overall, it was good.
