Hotel Pearl Malabar

I booked Flagship Hotel Pearl through Oyo for a conference in Kochi, and the stay left me very unhappy. The room was dirty, and there was no latch on the bathroom door, which was uncomfortable and affected privacy. They advertised free WiFi, but I had none for the whole stay. The manager also shut off the water without warning for nearly three hours. At check-in they insisted on cash, even though UPI and cards were listed as payment options. Taken together, these problems made for a very unpleasant stay. I strongly discourage others from staying here.

The washroom was decent, and North railway station is very close, but water service was delayed. The room cost 800rs. It had a cable connection but no TV, and the surrounding area wasn't hygienic. The overall ambiance wasn't good, so I wouldn't call this a satisfactory stay. It seems suitable for couples, though I'm not sure.

The WiFi and mobile charger didn't work, and nothing else about this hotel made up for it. I booked two days through goibibo, but the room was extremely small and horrible, and the bathroom smelled. After talking with goibibo, we cancelled and found a better hotel. No one in their right mind could stay here longer than two or three hours. Don't waste your money. I'd rather sleep on the road, and wish I could give negative stars.

I spent three days here and had to change rooms twice because the furniture, door, and room cleanliness were poor. There was no hot water or housekeeping, the linen was damaged, WiFi was poor, and Uber access took a long time. On the plus side, North Railway station is within walking distance. The reception boys were nice, but couldn't help provide the facilities.
