Hotel Presidency

The location is good, but the service was very bad. I saw your reply to my review, and it reads like a standard response. It doesn't clarify any of the points I raised. You said you'd make things right, so please explain point by point what you plan to do. We pay to stay hoping for a good experience, not to be met with staff acting like they don't care and telling us to go to hell. I noticed a lady had raised the same issue earlier. Service matters, especially around food. After breakfast hours, there should be room service for someone who can't come downstairs, with a vegetarian menu the guest can choose from. You can't just say you can't serve them. What solution are you talking about? Please give details. I'm following up because food matters a lot to travelers, and so does the way you respond when we ask for help.

The hotel’s location in the middle of the city made it easy to reach the major attractions, and everyone in our government officials’ residential training group enjoyed the stay. This was my return to Hotel Presidency after a long gap. From booking onward, Ms Reena Benny was polite and helpful with the arrangements, which gave things a personal touch. For me, staff make the difference, and the team were keen to help and answer questions across the hotel. Mr Thomas and Mr Sandeep gave us a warm welcome at the front office. The restaurant team, led by Ms Shobha, kept up timely daily service with smiles, while housekeeping, guided by Beena, kept the rooms neat and tidy and attended to our needs. The food was plentiful and tasty for both younger guests and people in their 50s. Thanks to Mr John, Chef, for looking after that. Mr. Kiran Koshy, General Manager, was around to assist from morning through dinner. Presidency Hotel feels homely while still professional, so I’d happily visit again. I really liked the location, and breakfast had a tasty selection. The rooms were clean and roomy, just what I needed. Baiju sir was especially friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. A good choice for a business trip or a getaway.

The restaurant on the 7 floor had nice views outside, and the breakfast spread was decent. We stayed one night and had a good experience, with very pleasant staff. The hotel is easy to reach from the main road, and it felt like good value for money.
